CASE WORKER (1-Abbeville County; 1-Richland County;2-Greenwood County) - To manage a case load that provides opportunities
for eligible children and families to receive support services encompassing
health and parenting skills within the objectives of the Head Start Program. BS
Degree Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Minimum two years work experience in a social
services environment. Must
possess working knowledge of personal computer software programs. Valid
driver’s license required. Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days.
State Benefits. Salary: $24,357/yr. CLOSING DATE: Until positions are filled.
CUSTODIANS (2-Richland County(1- Part Time) To perform
cleaning tasks and operate various types of cleaning equipment to care for and
maintain assigned buildings and related facilities; prepares and maintains
stock records of janitorial supplies; and replenishes supplies as needed. High School Diploma or equivalent skills
required such as reading cleaning supplies labels and instructions or a combination
of education and experience commensurate with job responsibilities. One year experience in janitorial activities
desired. State benefits. Pay rate:
$9.66/hr.
TEACHER – (2-Greenwood
County) – Early Head Start/Infant-Toddler Growth and Development Program. Bachelors
Degree or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or ECE Certificate
required. Prefer two years work
experience in licensed childcare facility.
Valid driver’s license required.
BUS DRIVERS /PART TIME –
(Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood,
Laurens, Lexington, Newberry, 2-Richland and Saluda Counties) At least 18
years of age with a good driving record verified through the state MVR
Department. Minimum
one year driving experience. Class B Commercial Driver’s License with
appropriate endorsements and DOT physical required. High School Diploma or GED required. Comparable salary. (#2007-32)
TEACHER ASSISTANTS –
(2-Greenwood; 3-Richland Counties) To assist in
teaching and supervising children in child development centers to ensure that
appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviors are learned. High School diploma or GED required. Related work experience preferred. Comparable salary and state benefits.
TEACHERS – (1-Greenwood, 2-Edgefield, 1-Lexington, 3-Saluda and 4-Richland Counties) To teach
and supervise children in child development centers to ensure that appropriate
skills, knowledge and behaviors are learned.
Plan and provide appropriate children’s activities for the classroom. BS Degree in Early Childhood Education,
Associate Degree or Certificate in Early Care Education or related degree and
experience required. Must
obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days. State Benefits. Salary: $18,720.
