The GLEAMNS Office of Transportation operates to ensure that consistency
is maintained throughout all services and operations rendered. The
department is staffed with two (2) Maintenance Specialists, one
full-time clerk, and a Transportation Manager.
In the operation of school buses and support vehicles we endeavor to:
provide preventive maintenance, assure that vehicle compliance is
maintained for federal, state, and local mandates/regulations/statutes,
assurance of compliance with environmental regulations and safety
standards, assisting providers in completing the Commercial Driver’s
License Randomization Drug Testing program, development and
implementation of policies and procedures, and providing on-going
training for employees.
