CASE MANAGER – (Newberry County)
A partner in the One-Stop Workforce Development System. Enroll eligible adults and dislocated workers
who are determined eligible for Workforce Investment Act services by the
Certification Contractor. Utilize a case
management approach to ensure customers’ employment goals and achievement
objectives are met. BS Degree in Social
Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, Business Management or an
Associate Degree and Career Development Facilitator Training or an Associate
Degree and Social Services or Human Resources experience. Must possess valid Driver’s License.
Working knowledge of personal computer software (ex. Microsoft Office) programs
required. Comparable Pay and State

CASE WORKERS – (Greenwood and/or
Surrounding Areas and Columbia and/or Surrounding Areas/Head Start Program) -
To manage a case load that provides opportunities for eligible children and
families to receive support services encompassing health and parenting skills
within the objectives of the Head Start Program. BS Degree Sociology,
Psychology, Social Work or related field. Minimum two years work
experience in a social services environment. Working knowledge of
personal computer software (ex. Microsoft Office Suite) programs required.
Valid driver’s license required. Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s

CENTER COORDINATORS - (Greenwood

Program) - To ensure the daily operations and delivery of services to Head
Start Program participants, including education, nutrition, recruitment, parent
involvement, volunteers, staff supervision, security and property maintenance
are in compliance with the federal, state and local regulations which govern
early childhood programs. Coordinate with Head Start components and local
resources. BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field plus
18 hours in Early Childhood Education. Two years teaching experience required;
3-5 years of supervisory experience. Valid driver’s license
required. Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days.
Working knowledge of personal computer software programs required. Comparable

School diploma or GED required. Related work experience preferred.

FACILITY AND COMPLIANCE LIAISON - (Greenwood County) - To coordinate and
develop short and long-range plans for the maintenance and/or improvement of
Head Start facilities, including new construction, renovation, maintenance and
operations. To oversee program data
collections functions and data management processes and systems. Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or
university with major coursework in business administration, public
administration, management, or a related field.
A Master Degree is desirable. A
combination of education and related experience may be substituted. Three years of experience with demonstrated
competence in managing mandates for programs.
Sixty percent of time spent in field.
Must be able to attend meetings and training sessions after working
hours. Working knowledge of personal

County/Lexington Head Start Center) - To perform cleaning tasks and operate
various types of cleaning equipment to care for and maintain assigned buildings
and related facilities. High School Diploma or equivalent skills required
such as reading cleaning supplies labels and instructions or a combination of
education and experience commensurate with job responsibilities. One year
experience in janitorial activities desired. Comparable Pay.

driving experience. Class B Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate
endorsements and DOT physical required. High School Diploma or GED required.
