ASSISTANT NUTRITION TECHNICIAN – (1-Saluda County/ Saluda Head Start Center) - To
assist in serving breakfast, lunch and snacks to preschool children by preparing
food according to approved cycle menus, following guidelines and regulations
established by USDA, Head Start and DHEC. High

teach and supervise children in child development centers to ensure that
appropriate skills, knowledge and behaviors are learned.
Plan and provide appropriate children’s activities for the classroom.
BS Degree in Early Childhood Education, Associate Degree or Certificate
in Early Care Education or related degree and experience required.
Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days.

CUSTODIAN
– (Edgefield County – Edgefield Head
Start Center)
- To perform cleaning tasks and operate various types of cleaning equipment to
care for and maintain assigned buildings and related facilities; prepares and
maintains stock records of janitorial supplies; and replenishes supplies as
needed. High School Diploma or
equivalent skills required such as reading cleaning supplies labels and
instructions with a minimum one year experience in janitorial activities.
Valid South Carolina Driver’s license required.
Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days of employment.

– (Richland
County – Pineview Head Start Center) - Responsible
for receptionist duties relating to operating a multi-line telephone system,
greeting visitors, and providing clerical support to center staff.

knowledge of personal computer software applications required.

ROMA
COORDINATOR
– (Greenwood County) - To manage and audit Community Services
Block Grant (CSBG) records and produce reports for use by Office of Economic
Opportunity to meet Federal Guidelines. Ability to apply Results Oriented
Management Accountability (ROMA) Framework and principles to create, enhance and
implement CSBG work plans, logic models and budgets into DBA
FACS Pro. DBA experience a plus. BS Degree in Social Services or a
combination of education and experience and administrative experience within a
social services agency setting. Working knowledge of personal computer
software applications required. Twenty percent of time spent in field. Valid
South Carolina Driver’s License required. Comparable Pay and State

CASE WORKERS – (1-Edgefield County, Edgefield Head Start Center/1-Abbeville County, Abbeville Head Start Center) - To manage a case load that provides opportunities for eligible children and families to receive support services encompassing health and parenting skills within the objectives of the Head Start Program. BS Degree Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or related field. Minimum two years work experience in a social services environment. Working knowledge of personal computer software (ex. Microsoft Office Suite) programs required. Valid driver’s license required. Must obtain a Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days. Comparable Pay and State Benefits. CLOSING DATE: Until filled.
